Go Salt | A Schoenberg Company is the leading supplier of salt and deicing products in the north-east. Industries they serve include agricultural, food processing and transportation. They have recently celebrated 120 years of being in business.
Not only do are we NYC web developers; we also do branding! Go Salt came to us for a brand refresher and we were happy to help! Their original logo had been developed in the late 70’s and they needed something to pop for their invoices, website, mailing lists and brand identity.
In addition to a new logo and look, the wanted to enter the world of social media; creating a Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn profile pages.

The idea behind logos was to incorporate salt iconography creatively. It was an exciting process since it had been so long that this company updated their brand. Materials that were used for the logos were:

The concept of the logo and new brand was for it be modern and fun. Salt is not only a purifying element but it is also used for celebratory occasions and comfort food. Below are a series of drafts and concepts before finalizing the approved logo.
