NYCFC: 24 Hour Game
To celebrate NYCFC’s MLS home opener, NYCFC (New York City Football Club) hosted a 24-hour game, where all of NYC came together and played for fame, fun, and prizes under the lights at Rockefeller Center®
The NYCFC came to us to gain an interactive experience with the fans as well as their friends and family. The goal was to celebrate both the NYCFC, New York, and the soccer fandom.
It was incredibly important that the registration website be intuitive for fans of all ages and have the ability for easy registration.

We collaborated with the talented team at Johannes Leonardo who offered creative input for the project. The site was sponsored by Wix and it was necessary we use their platform and service. The tools we used for the website, including graphics were:

Vision & Concept
It was vital for the site to be intuitive and easy to relay the concept and details of the event. NYCFC branding also needed to be largely present in the site and mailing promotion.
The colors, CTA buttons, and fonts needed to align with the NYCFC brand and the images need to showcase fun, excitement and most importantly; soccer
By the first hour of the launch, 75% of bookings were unavailable, creating fandom social media frenzy. By the 6th hour of the release the NYCFC game was completely booked reaching over 100,000 impressions, and trending within Twitters top 100 hashtags; #24hrgame.
On the day of the game, the event was covered by several news sources and celebrity soccer players attended the event including David Villa. Press included Yahoo Sports, Good Morning USA, the Daily Mail and the New York Times.
